With sun’s warmest smile
The kiss of the breeze
And you dance for me
Pretty Butterfly
Colorful fairy
And you entice me
With you I ponder
You do me no harm
You are beautiful
A true gift from God
While it is the first day of Autumn (Fall) on September 1st in the Northern hemisphere in Australia it is the first day of Spring so I thought this poem from 2014 would be suitable this week

We're at the 80th day of the monsoon season or something!
ReplyDeleteThis poem gives me pleasure too.
ReplyDeleteOur weather in NSW is far from Spring. It's snowing in the mountains and in Canberra. This however is a lovely Spring poem which must happen some time soon.
ReplyDeleteSpeak for yourself. It's gorgeous up here in northern NSW.
DeleteSuch a delightful read, Robin!💖
ReplyDeleteA lovely read and it does make me smile and feel so contented.
ReplyDeleteLovely how much joy a butterfly can bring...
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful poem. It has that Springy feel to it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the snow. Eagerly. It puts out the forest fires.
A butterfly in my heart, this poem.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely, lovely. And yes, they are already fluttering.
ReplyDeleteYou are beautiful
ReplyDeleteA true gift from God
The beauty of a butterfly is more in the frequency of its presence as compared to other beautiful creatures like a peacock or a kingfisher!
Hank
