I am such a fool Spent the evening bickering Now your soft warmth calls I crawl into bed Your breathing is regular Hoping you're asleep I kiss your shoulder You murmur "You took your time" Then turn to kiss me Image found at www.rebelcircus.com
Yes, that is the way it goes sometimes. I always kiss Mrs. Jim standing beside her side of the bed before I get in and sometimes even go finish brushing teeth, etc. She might be asleep and then there isn't more kissing, she needs her sleep. I won't fess up to the bickering. It always helps to go shopping and eating a bite with them someplace along the way. Seems wives know their men don't really enjoy shopping unless it is a place for mostly men. ..
Nice one, Robin!
ReplyDeleteNo need to bicker when bedtime comes.
ReplyDeleteLovely! We should never let the sun set on our anger.

ReplyDeleteI have spent too many evenings bickering... alas it happens that we have to meet the morning to have it solved.

Yup. That's marriage. And forgiveness. Perfect, Robin.
