This girl I know

This girl I know
she has no past
now just how long can that last?

I love her hair
I love her eyes
and I weep too when she cries

We touch fingers
and we touch toes
I like to kiss her turned up nose

And just for her
I want to be
just that one special memory

This girl I know
is very strong
so she'd just laugh at this song

  1. maybe she would - but maybe she wouldn't - would be worth trying to get to know her?

  6. A very neat love song that poses its own question. Perhaps you could sing it while she's near.

  7. This sounds to me like a poem to a grandchild. If so, I can identify. For each of them I would like to be (someday) a 'special memory.' A very touching poem, Robin.
