Things can come to an end as abrupt as it had started. Sad are those that lingered on for years with all the sufferings but yet sustained. Nicely old egg!
Good use of the words. The way to ensure a long term relationship without a divorce is to not get married and if you are still together when you get really old ,you can marry then:)
I know someone who went through a divorce recently, after a rather short marriage. It was about as you describe.
