A miss not to miss
She is Paradise
My legs have turned to jelly
How can I catch her?
A miss not to miss
What half baked idea do I have
That she will be mine?
But gifts such as she
Don’t come, not on a platter
That that leaves no option
So I smile at her
Then she raises her eyebrows
I suggest a trip
We celebrate
She wears a cute cotton dress
I wear a big grin
Just a big smile...wow...you are the master :)
ReplyDeleteSome trips are always good..especially if they start with a grin
ReplyDeleteGrinning is good and a cotton dress is cool,

Sometimes the right kind of smile is enough!
ReplyDeleteRobin, another in your lively, smilingly naughty appreciations of man/woman relationships, and a doozy. The "legs turn to jelly" was an especially nice use of that word! And I can see you wearing... ONLY a smile? (wink) Amy
ReplyDeleteHow sweet. I love this poem.... especially that last stanza. But the imagery is great!
ReplyDeleteAH yes.. there are possibilities to do a great catch like that... there are those smart misses who never miss the oppurtunity of greatness.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a romantic and such fun to read, Old Egg. Sorry for the late visit life has gotten in my way.
