The girl for me
"Damn! I have a flat tire!"
Brought the car to a stop
She merely grinned at me
Then got out to check it
"The spare OK? she asked
As a wisp of her hair
Now fell across her face
She changed my tire for me
I can't help but love her

ReplyDeleteNice role reversal there. :-)
ReplyDeleteDoes she have a sister, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteGot to love a capable woman.
ReplyDeleteGot to love a woman like that.
ReplyDeleteI know a woman just like that... there is a reason I love her.
ReplyDeleteAnyone would! What a feisty woman :)
ReplyDeleteOh a girl who can change a flat tire is my heroine. I have to get help to put AIR in my tires, lol.
ReplyDeleteYes, love a girl who can change a tire. My dad taught me how to do it when I was just a kid. I haven't changed one in so long I'm not sure I could do it now.
ReplyDeleteI love this. :)
ReplyDeleteFun poem, E.G. I'd let her change my tire, both my knees have problems and so I can't do it myself. But never, never would I love some one for what they cold do for me.
ReplyDelete..
Doing good beyond gender limitations is just terrific!
ReplyDeleteHank
