It was the night before the morning after Full of booze and uproarious laughter My mind was clearly was not in gear Couldn't tell whether I was here or there She took me places I need not know By spending it in foolish drinking When I awoke I was not at home And clearly I was also not alone Deep in trouble I am sure of that With three stray dogs I know not how Image found at www.peacecorpsinthelandofeternalspring.blogspot.com.au
I don't know why this made me laugh so hard. It's a terrifying thing to experience, but... there you have it, I'm giggling like a fool at the idea of the speaker starting the night with a dame and waking up surrounded by pubs.
Ah, the sins of John Barleycorn! Being a control freak, I've never understood how anyone can allow booze to so cloud their mind they can't remember what they've done. That being said, enough of it to enhance a pleasant glow is not all bad ............
I wonder where "she" went... it's been a long long time since I've drunk that much... and hearing afterwards what really happened is the scariest of all.
Ha...What aftereffects..The sight is not so uncommon here in India :)
