A sweet song of love

I heard you breathing
Such soft gentle whispering
Like sweet kisses blown
In nights darkness
Just for me alone

I touched you gently
Barely rousing from your dream
You stirred with pleasure
And hummed to me
A sweet song of love

Wrapped up together
Your warm flesh now welcomed me
As we became one
T'was then you spoke
"Don't ever leave me"

By morn you were gone
You husband returned today
Just how long to wait
Until next time
Our dangerous game

  3. When you show the dark, you break our hearts with it. That ending, my dear universe... the intensity.

  5. Oh, that was a surprise ending! And gives an edge to the preceding gentle voluptuousness, making it all the more ecstatic while it lasts.

  13. Maybe it's the danger that keeps it alive... but of course the husband will know ... sooner or later.

  21. Sigh. Is forbidden love so much more sensual than that enjoyed legally and daily? I doubt it, and yet smiled at your breathtaking poem of love and loss.

  23. Yep, that's a game where there are too often no winners.

  24. I wonder, is that brief moment of stolen pleasure, worth the price, which must be paid, upon discovery? Of being branded, with the scarlet letter, by your partner.

  25. It is a dangerous game, agreed, Robin! (but worth all the fun)
