The Haunted House

The house was haunted

With scenes of devastation

Littered with bodies

One by one they came

The lifeless zombies drifting

And drowning in the pool

What a price they paid

The impact of the carnage

Known only by us

Remote desolate

Illuminated at last

A storm needs to come

  3. There are those who cause mischief and unwitting impact on others.Such persons need to be told immediately before they cause any further damage! That's how I read this! Great write oldegg!

  11. Their "shee" stood
    draped in nothing
    but red
    life brightens
    this leached out
    seemingly lifeless wasteland
    so beautiful to see
    these words came to be
I bet she wishes she thought
    ahead about
    a belt, or waistband...

  12. I feel like I need to be screaming, "DON'T GO INTO THE HOUSE!" like in those horror movies. Eerie, indeed. Well done.

  13. The storm always seems to have a need to come...but on its own timetable, not ours...which is sad, really...not to mention disturbing...
