Dreaming of you

It is not yet dawn

But I nestle in your back

Curled up like puppies

And I hear you sigh

I am a fine conjuror

It’s years since you’ve gone

But you’re here again

Carried back by memories

Sad trinkets of joy

The spirits hold you fast

Invisible twine ensures

I don't steal you back

I breathe in your scent

But I must not fall asleep

Neglect will lose you

But I am so weak

Morpheus has bent over me

You are gone by dawn

  1. Such luscious dreams can linger throughout the day. It's nice to stay in bed and savor them. Well penned OE.

  4. This one tricky...if the dream - night or day? if not - stay in the bed...actually in all cases - keep sleeping ;)
