My Angel

Soft as morning dew

She was a gift from heaven

That long ago springtime

We were shy at first

Held hands in the cinema

Then I walked her home

Wistful smile, dark eyes

So I called her my angel

She was really mine

  2. So lovely, O.E. It sounds like 'young love' at its finest. At least for him.

    1. Nicely fitting the form too, Senryus and haikus are fun to write.
