A short romance

“Never let me go”

She then whispered in his ear

As she held him tight

He knew very well

She’d manipulated him

But it was worth while

“This drink is bitter”

She protested, but still drank it

“Sweet dreams my pretty”

  1. Ooh, sneaky sneaky!
Somehow it reminds me of a conversation between Winston Churchill and Lady Astor, which is as follows.
Lady Nancy Astor: "Winston, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your coffee."

Winston Churchill: "Nancy, if you were my wife, I'd drink it."
