Unfortunately, man's ferocity in the name of insatiable greed injures millions of innocents needlessly; while feral animals feed for true hunger. This was excellent Old Egg
Re: the comment in my letter; this is not so light, and not so romantic. Well observed, except that we have not conquered the earth - it will survive and recover; it is us who are lost.
Does that make us as good as animals?
ReplyDeleteMuch less so I am afraid, Alice.
DeleteI should probably say "even" as good as animals.

ReplyDeleteSome animals can overeat...have they learned from human? ~ important theme
ReplyDeleteI guess as a species we are apex predators for a reason..we really should stop when all that's left to kill is ourselves though!
ReplyDeleteWhy stop there? You are such a party pooper Jae not entering into the politically correct self destruction spirit of the age.:)

Animals do what they do without guilt. They must survive. Humans savage the earth without guilt for shopping centers.
ReplyDeleteI believe we are worse than the animals because we know better.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I've noticed my comments never take when I try to comment from the iPad. I wonder why that is.
We are most certainly feral animals.
ReplyDeleteWhat's to be guilty about? It's why we were put here isn't it? To serve as a bad example?
