Morning's mirror

In the morning's mirror
He looked at his reflection
Pathetic failure

He really needed
A radical change in life
Was that possible?

Could he hide the past
Adopt a seamless persona
To fool one and all

The mirror's image
Burst out laughing in his face
Could not convince him

  2. I guess we must all be what we naturally are. That might be harder for some than for others.

  3. Mirrors are rarely good friends unless we train them to lie and tell us who is the fairest of them all..better to look at the reflection inside - i bet it shines

  4. Mirrors can be scary when we are not honest with ourselves. Well penned verse!
