Sting of a bee

Ink from a cuttlefish
Sting of a bee
Romance is over
Between you and me

Silence is mutable
Words are a threat
Sun's not shining
You've flown from the net

Sparkle has now all gone
Snow flakes they fall
Your threats not veiled
Grief now casts its pall

Tapestry woven
Precise you've schemed
Love's flown away
All's not what it seemed

This ignorant lover
Made such a mess
Lightness to dark
I'll miss your caress

  2. I love the almost chant-like flow of this..love can often be a stinger maybe it's more learning than making a mess..we can hope!

  3. It takes so long for us to know that it takes two for love to flourish.

  4. The stanzas skip along briskly to tell the tale, with the Wordle words slotting in effortlessly. Very good.

  6. It is a pity that one party can spoil the relationship by not being sensitive to feelings of the other. It is mostly the case!
