I walked into town
Our shopping is now all done
Plenty in the fridge
I have stretched my legs
The garden bursts with colour
Tea and biscuit time
Our dog grins at us
Clearly suggesting a walk
To the park we go
You are by my side
I sneak one sweet tender kiss
We laugh together
How simple it is
Counting our blessings each day
Basking in your warmth

We must always count our blessings instead of complaining of what we don't have. This is the key to happiness. A lovely poem :)
