I love you so much

The sensuous shadows across the landscape

Are like your breath as you lean over me

And steal a kiss as I am dreaming

I hold your head in my hands and feel

The threads of you hair in my fingertips

Which swings free as you send me kisses

They are the bread of life for me

Being in love is the salt of all seasons

That requires no plans only constancy

We are drawn to each by the others spell

Our gravity attracts the other with desire

We are the shoes that fit so snugly

I love you so much

  9. Robin, like I was just replying on my blog, you write some of the most romantic poetry I've ever seen. "the salt of all seasons" reminds me of the biblical verses about being "salt and light," salt being that wonderful, uplifting tang, as well as the preserver of food. Here, it flavors and preserves love. Beautiful. Peace, Amy
