Note: I managed to attend Joan Baez's first Australian concert for 20 years in Adelaide this week. What a great nostalgia trip. (P.S. I was not alone.)
Excellent way to relax after all that quibbling, name calling crying and going berserk!! ;) You have created an amazing poetry here with those three words!!
Glad you didn't go alone. What I wouldn't give to hear her sing "Diamonds and Rust," and of course, "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down," which is a field day for political parody folks like me!
"Duplicitous swine"? Methinks you incapable of that type of insincerity, honey. Amy
Great poetry.I hope you didn't have to attend alone but it must have been a fun concert.
ReplyDeleteThis is clearly a work of fiction, since you would never be a duplicitous swine. But I hope you had a good time at the concert!
