The proposal
Kids were at an age
When they asked all sorts of things
“When did Dad propose?”

Asks older Daughter
Son’s just as eager to know
I look innocent

Wife all misty eyed
Alleges I was on my knees
Not as I recall

Concealed in the dunes
Hot day and with few clothes on
Memories vary

I would like to know too.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be something memorable, certainly! Nicely oldegg!
