Choosing a dog

What do I detect

Loving friends can be honest

What is my mistake?

I’m so sick of this

Come on let’s stick together

A second chance please

Please do not leave me

I’ve told you I want a lab

And you a poodle

So my compromise

Is for a Labradoodle

Can we make up now?

The rest is simple

Consciences are clear and

I note you’re smiling

  3. Petless at the moment, well for warm blooded four footers. :)
I've had poodles and have famly with labs.

The 'Family' line in my piece is something I grew up with. First time a guest, secondtime family. We have a 'big' family of wonderful friends.

  8. Ha! Lots of smiles as I read this! My poem developed around the word 'lab' too! The Gospel According to a Labrador Retriever

  14. Nice compromise and giggling at MMT though I know it's frustrating. My Blogger spam filter is great at weeding out Anonymous spam, FWIW.

I continue on, a dogless lass, until the day I am in one place in one country!
