Unfortunately not, if there is no sense of warmth through heat. I love tears that fall as leaves. You hold strength here even when asking such a exhausting question and you have been very clever with the words this week. :)
No one should stay in a no-love, no respect, distrustful relationship.....Sometimes we think we have no choice, we love too much, but we need to love ourselves more.
"Heat but no warmth" was the crux of this for me. So sad, that loss of love. Distrust has no place in true love, so maybe it's for the best. You deserve love and so much more, for all the beauty you give us. Peace, Amy http://sharplittlepencil.com/2012/07/27/bleed-warning-precedes-poem/

ReplyDeleteLots of unanswered questions posed so eloquently.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the coldness is to keep the other person from asking too many painful questions. The end is always hard, no matter which side you're on.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your poem. My favourite line "Endangered by mistrust" Why do we do that do you think - endanger our love with mistrust?

ReplyDeleteMature tears. To trust in love, who is trusted more? Your self or their self? Mature tears also know loving one you can't trust. No matter which self.
